PROCESS
& AFTERCARE
1.
All new clients begin with a complimentary, 15 minute phone consultation. This is a time to discuss what you like/dislike about your eyebrows and answer any questions or concerns.
If you choose to move forward, a $50 deposit is required to schedule your microblading appointment. The deposit amount is applied to the cost of the second session.
2.
At your first microblading appointment, we will discuss brow shape, select the pigment color and complete the microblading procedure. The microblading portion is only 30 minutes, the entire session will take around 2 hours.
After the procedure, we will go over aftercare and schedule your second microblading appointment. The remainder of our payment is due in full at this time.
3.
Your second microblading session is considered the touch-up appointment as it allows us to adjust pigment color, shape, and correct any areas that did not retain pigment. This session will take about 1 hour and is covered by your $50 deposit.
After the second session, your new brows can last anywhere from 1-4 years. Additional sessions may be needed or desired to achieve your brow goals.
preparation and aftercare
Before your appointment
3-4 weeks
before microblading
— Abstain from Chemical Peels, Dermabrasion, Mesotherapy, Botox Injections or any other intense treatments on the face and brow area.
3 days
before microblading
— Abstain from eyebrow waxing, tanning and sunbathing.
— If you tint your eyebrows, we recommend tinting them now.
1 day
before microblading
— Abstain from Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Ibuprofen, coffee, alcohol and energy drinks. These substances can thin the blood, making pigment retention difficult during the procedure.
— Take care of any hair needs as the eyebrow area cannot get wet for 10 days immediately following the procedure.

During your appointment
We'll discuss the microblading procedure, eyebrow shape, and pigment color.
Numbing cream is applied to the skin.
It can take approximately 20-30 minutes to achieve full numbness.
The Brow Artist defines the brow shape with a soft pencil. The brow shape is reviewed by the client.
Another pass of pigment is applied and left to absorb.
The pigment is custom-blended and applied with a manual tool using our specialized technique.
The Brow Artist cleans the area and applies a healing cream.
After your appointment
Immediately
following microblading
— Avoid water, sweat or any other liquids on the brow area for 10 days Even a small amount of water can cause the microblading wounds to expand causing scabs to form. Keeping your brows completely dry for 10 days is imperative for healing!
— Using clean fingers, gently apply a thin layer of Buddha Butter to the eyebrows every morning and night. An additional layer should be applied during showering/bathing. This creates a thin protective barrier from water and steam. (Buddha Butter will be provided.)
— Avoid using other ointments or creams that contain vitamins, antibiotics or petroleum base. These type of ointments can cause an irritation, impair healing, or affect pigment retention.
10 days
following microblading
— If no scabs or skin flakes are present after 10 days, you can begin to get water on your brows and resume normal physical activity. If after 10 days you still have scabs present, continue to keep your brows dry until the scabs fall off naturally.
— Avoid harsh soaps and cleansers around the eyebrow area.
— Continue to avoid using makeup on or around your eyebrows.
2 weeks
following microblading
— You can begin touching the eyebrow area and sleeping on your eyebrows.
— You can resume wearing makeup on and around the eyebrow area.

4 weeks
following microblading
— You can resume Chemical Peels, Mesotherapy, Dermabrasion, Botox and other intense treatments.
— You can resume sunbathing and tanning. We recommend wearing sunscreen, sunglasses & a hat if you will be in the sun for a prolonged period of time to avoid premature fading of your eyebrows.
— You can resume waxing, threading, or any depilation/epilation around the eyebrow area.
— If a follow up session is needed/desired, it can be completed at this time.
Aftercare is an important step to achieve beautiful and lasting microblading results.
The success of your healing is in your hands.
